Piha locals feel left out by council decision makers

It's a place that Aucklanders tell out-of-towners is a must-see attraction in their city. But like other outlying parts of the region, Piha locals are feeling increasingly disconnected from the people calling the shots for their community from the Auckland Town Hall. Our reporter Matthew Theunissen headed out to the famous surf beach yesterday and spoke to some of them about their struggles with the city council what they hope will change after the elections on October 12.
