Calls to regulate ferry fares.

From Morning Report, 7:56 am on 10 September 2019

Waiheke Islanders are keeping pressure on the government and ferry company Fullers 360 to give them a decently priced and more frequent ferry service. The previous government made two routes that Fullers 360 runs exempt from a law, which allows them to act entirely for profit and without pricing or scheduling regulation. Now the Public Transport Operating Model will be reviewed to address this, but that won't be done for at least a year. Jordan Bond reports.
