Trust determined to build on Māori freehold in Bay of Plenty

From Morning Report, 8:24 am on 9 September 2019

A Māori land trust is not giving up its fight to build a holiday park on Māori freehold land in the Bay of Plenty, despite strong opposition from some of the landowners it represents. The trustees of the 55 hectare section failed to change the land's status through the Māori land court last year in order to fund the project. They've since appealed that decision, as RNZ's Te Aniwa Hurihanganui reports.
