Boris Johnson's brother quits as MP and govt minister

The British prime minister's brother, Jo Johnson, has announced he is quitting as a member of parliament and government minister. His decision is the latest twist to affect the governing Conservative Party, after it expelled twenty-one rebels who voted against the government in a key Brexit vote. Jo Johnson gave this explanation for his resignation. And the government's announced MPs will get another chance to vote for an early election on Monday.
