The government has outlined its plan for how it hopes hydrogen fuel will be used in New Zealand. As part of that commitment, the Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones announced a quarter of a million dollar boost for First Gas, which owns all the natural gas pipelines in the North Island, to figure out how to use their pipes to pump hydrogen. First Gas general manager Ben Gerritsen spoke to Susie Ferguson.
