RNZ has spoken to students and staff at the University of Canterbury about their experiences of racism.
Maryanne Tupou is a law student at the University of Canterbury, and was one of four tertiary students and staff that opened up about racism they have experienced in New Zealand.
She spoke to our reporter Anan Zaki about her experiences.
