Defending US Open Champion Naomi Osaka, has suffered a shock defeat at the tournament his morning, losing 5-7 4-6 to the 13th seed Belinda Bencic.
Her exit follows that of the men's defending champ Nocak Djokovic who retired injured from his fourth-round match against Stan Warwrinka yesterday afternoon.
