Row continues over Boris Johnson's decision to shut down parliament

From Morning Report, 7:14 am on 30 August 2019

The furious row over the Prime Minister Boris Johnson's decision to shut down parliament for five weeks shows no sign of going away. Demonstrations have broken out across the UK, more than a million people have signed a petition against the move -- and several legal challenges are being mounted. Two senior Conservatives have resigned - Tory whip George Young and Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson. But Conservative leader of the House of Commons Jacob Rees-Mogg says the outrage is "phoney". BBC's political correspondent, Rob Watson, joined us to talk about the latest on the situation.
