UK parliament suspension prompts protests from public

Boris Johnson's decision to suspend parliament for up to a month in a bid to stop British MPs from blocking a no-deal Brexit has prompted fury from MPs and protests from the public.

Crowds gathered opposite parliament, shutting down a major road, chanting "stop the coup" and holding signs saying "Bollocks to Boris".
