Mark Lundy is making a last ditch attempt to overturn his convictions for murdering his wife and daughter 19 years ago.
Lundy was convicted of the Palmerston North killings in 2002 - the convictions were quashed by the Privy Council in 2013, but he was again found guilty at a retrial in 2015.
Today in the Supreme Court in Wellington, his lawyers will argue his conviction was a miscarriage of justice.
Auckland University law professor Mark Henaghan has been following the case, he spoke to Susie Ferguson.
