A Napier couple say their plans for their newly purchased lifestyle block are in tatters after learning - just days before taking ownership - that a shopping centre could be built directly opposite their property.
And some of their neighbours say the city council didn't even bother telling them at all about the new development, despite them being right next door. RNZ's Hawke's Bay reporter Anusha Bradley has more.
