Descendants of Mururoa veterans sought for testing

Family members of veterans exposed to radiation on Mururoa Atoll are being asked to participate in a genetic study to see whether they may have been affected by their relatives' exposure. The University of Otago is asking for the families of all veterans who were deployed to Mururoa Atoll in 1973 to take part. It will be the first medical testing of veterans' children and grandchildren
