Long-lasting damage predicted from census botch-up

The census botch-up may have done long-lasting damage to public trust, with one economist warning it could take as long as a decade to rebuild.

Officials insist key aspects of the data are robust, but the opposition is unconvinced and demanding a do-over. RNZ deputy political editor Craig McCulloch reports.
