Waitangi Tribunal pushes for prisoner voting before 2020

The Waitangi Tribunal wants the government to urgently repeal a law preventing prisoners from voting so they can take part in the next election.

Justice Minister Andrew Little says the Tribunal has made a compelling case and it's clear it needs to be looked at by Cabinet.
