Cancer specialists are welcoming an announcement by Pharmac that two new cancer drugs will be funded.
One of the drugs, known as Kadcyla, is currently costing breast cancer sufferers at least $9,000 a month.
But specialists say the drug-buying agency's processes are still too slow and not transparent.
