A NASA satellite has discovered three new worlds - one of which could be habitable - in what is just its first year in orbit.

The satellite, known as TESS, was launched in 2018 in the hope of finding planets outside our solar system which could potentially support life.

With this latest discovery, TESS is edging closer to fulfilling its mission.

Susie Ferguson speaks to NASA Scientist Michelle Thaller about the gravity of these findings.
