The euthanasia debate is set to return to Parliament on Wednesday - with MPs facing a potentially prolonged and ugly showdown.
MPs are expected to thrash out the details of a proposed law change that would make euthanasia legal for certain people in certain cases.
The legislation's author David Seymour has promised to soften the bill in a bid to placate its critics - but some of those opponents are promising a fierce fight.
