Ihumātao: Calls grow for rangatahi, kaumātua, to meet

There are new calls for the parties at the centre of the Ihumātao stand-off to come together for talks.

On Thursday, Auckland Council voted unanimously in favour of organising an urgent meeting between interested parties as a last-ditch effort to resolve the dispute.

Qiane Matata-Sipu is one of the co-founders of the group Save Our Unique Landscape.

RNZ reporter Tom Furley asked her what she thought a solution might look like.
