The second heatwave to hit Western Europe in less than a month is hitting its peak.
In Paris it's forecast to rise to as much as 43 degrees, and there's also concerns the heat could cause more damage to Notre Dame, which was ravaged by a fire earlier this year.
New all-time highs were registered on Wednesday in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
