Chinese swimmer Sun Yang drug controversy continues

From Morning Report, 8:48 am on 25 July 2019

The swimming World Championships in South Korea are being overshadowed by an ongoing saga between a Chinese swimmer and his competitors.

Sun Yang, who is at the centre of an investigation for drug doping, was snubbed on the podium by Australian Mack Horton who had called Yang "a drug cheat".

This was followed by Briton, Duncan Scott, refusing to shake hands with him after another race prompting Yang to say "you loser, I am winning".

All three have been issued warnings by the International Swimming Federation.

Corin Dann speaks to ABC National sports editor David Mark.

He asks if the matter is viewed by the Chinese as a sleight.
