Opposition leader Simon Bridges doesn't regret likening new British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to a "buffoon".
Mr Bridges says if he was a Conservative MP he would have voted for him because he has all the qualities needed to lead the United Kingdom out of the European Union under Brexit.
RNZ political editor Jane Patterson spoke to Mr Bridges on Wednesday.
