Ihumātao protest numbers grow as police hold line

From Morning Report, 7:10 am on 25 July 2019

Numbers facing off against police at Ihumātao have swelled, with more expected to join today and into the weekend.

Three more people were arrested on Wednesday as hundreds of supporters joined those who had been occupying the land to stop Fletcher Building putting up houses.

The government has refused to get involved, a stance labelled "pathetic" by the movement's leader.

RNZ reporter Tom Furley has the story.
