From Morning Report, 7:46 am on 17 July 2019

It's the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11 which carried Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to the moon and into a place in history.

Four days later, Neil Armstrong stepped onto the surface of the moon and uttered those immortal words "One small step for man; one giant leap for mankind."

Kim Hill speaks to NBC's aviation correspondent, Tom Costello, who has been covering the commemorations.
