The Defence Force is sending two heavy trucks and deploying up to 70 more people on the West Coast to help remove garbage from a spilt landfill.
Heavy rain washed out a West Coast landfill near Fox Glacier last March, sending thousands of tonnes of rubbish into the Fox River.
