From Morning Report, 7:54 am on 5 July 2019

A rāhui is being placed on parts of Lake Taupō and the upper Waikato River following the massive sewage spill earlier this week.

The Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board has imposed the rāhui from 9am Friday and it will be in place until it is deemed appropriate to lift it.

The Trust's chief executive, Topia Rameka, talks to Susie Ferguson.
