The government is offering to eliminate donations in most schools next year, but one man wants it to go even further.
Hutt Valley man Max Shierlaw is challenging the tax deductability of big donations requested by a few high-decile integrated schools.
He is urging Inland Revenue to take a test case and says the government should make its donation scheme compulsory for all state and integrated schools.
