A New Zealand euthanasia activist has been sentenced to three-years house arrest in South Africa for helping three people kill themselves.

Sean Davison spent five months under house arrest in New Zealand after pleading guilty to helping his terminally-ill mother end her own life in 2006.

He then went to South Africa and from 2013 to 2015 helped three men kill themselves using various methods.

Deidre Uren of the South African Broadcasting Corporation has been following the case.

She talks to Corin Dann.
