Shane Jones blasts Ōpōtiki, Tūhoe over economic growth

From Morning Report, 7:29 am on 17 June 2019

The Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones says "hoodlums" in Opotiki and "hillbillies" in Tuhoe are knee-capping economic growth in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

Mr Jones says contractors are being targeted and their actions are making it hard to invest money from the Provincial Growth Fund.

He tells Susie Ferguson about the allegations he's been hearing.
