A District Health Board member who objected to an attempt last month to remove a baby from a teenage mother at Hawke's Bay Hospital says she will resist any effort to muzzle her.
Jacoby Poulain says the attempt to separate mother and child may have been a breach of the hospital's duty of care.
But she has been reprimanded by the health board chairman, who warned her comments did not comply with her obligations as a board member.
Ms Poulain talks to Corin Dann.
