A sleepy Golden Bay port is set for a boom.
The Tasman District Council has been awarded $250,000 from the Provincial Growth Fund to investigate ways the council owned Port Tarakohe could grow to service an expanding aquaculture industry.
But residents are worried they'll lose their slice of paradise.
