A community leader in Palmerston North is urging the police to step up and do more to keep the migrant and muslim community safe.
Rana Naser from the Manawatu Multicultural Council says police aren't taking racist abuse seriously enough and haven't done enough about the anti-Islam threats from one offender. The police will meet with her on Friday.
