The Central Pulse has been crowned ANZ Premiership netball champions after beating the Northern Stars 52 to 48 in Porirua on Monday night.
The Pulse has featured in the last three consecutive grand-finals to finally be able to lift the trophy in front of a home crowd, while the Stars have finished the last two seasons at the bottom of the table.
As netball reporter Ravinder Hunia reports, despite the odds the visitors didn't make it easy for the favourites.
