Roy Williams says his Olympic champion "big sis" has finally got the recognition she has long deserved.
Yvette Corlett has been made a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to athletics, a month and a half after her death, aged 89.
Her brother Roy Williams told our sports reporter Brenton Vannisselroy she was notified of the honour shortly before she died.
