The plans to mark the 250th anniversary of Captain James Cook's arrival here have revived old wounds in the north where a boycott has been called for.
But in the south it's a different story. Local iwi Ngāti Kuia will be central to the Tuia 250 Ki Totaranui commemorations that will mark the Endeavour's arrival into Meretoto (Ship Cove).
