Waikato students meet to fight extremism

As world leaders meet in Paris, students, academics and the police have met at the University of Waikato in Hamilton last night to discuss ways of combating violent extremism. Last night's event fell on the two month anniversary of the Christchurch mosque attacks, which left 51 people dead. Topics included the internet's role in radicalisation to the common characteristics of an extremist.
