Papua New Guinea PM accused of sabotaging democracy
Papua New Guinea's prime minister Peter O'Neill has been accused of sabotaging democracy to save his government and political career. Bolstered by recent defections from Mr O'Neill's government, the opposition has lodged a motion of no confidence against the prime minister. But the motion needs to be vetted by a parliamentary committee first, and the P=M has quickly removed two defecting MPs from the committee.
