Hear extinct bird calls at Te Papa's new exhibit

Te Papa Museum's brand new $12 million nature exhibition is opening on Saturday. Called Te Taiao Nature, it replaces the old nature zone, and is the biggest change the museum has seen since it opened in 1998. It features the calls of long extinct birds, moa bones and a moa egg, shows how tsunamis work, and features a recreation of the eruption of that created lake Taupō. And of course it has revamped versions of old favourites - the colossal squid and the earthquake house. Laura Dooney takes a look.
