Israel launches military strikes on Gaza

Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the military to continue with strikes on the Gaza strip in response to rockets fired by Palestinian militants. Israeli's military says more than 400 rockets have been fired across .. from Gaza in the last 24 hours. Rockets and missiles from Gaza killed three civilians in Israel while Israeli air strikes and artillery fire killed seven Palestinians militants in surging cross-border fighting on Sunday, according to Gazan officials and the Israeli military.
