Willie Jackson says National's Māori MPs not Māori enough

How Māori do you need to be, to be Māori? And when are you Māori enough? That's the debate on the minds of some Māori MPs in Parliament this week - prompting some to suggest they're more Māori than others. The Employment Minister Willie Jackson says National is full of useless Māori MPs and Whanau Ora Minister Peeni Henare says he's more than happy for questions to be raised about MPs who don't meet his threshold of being Māori. But one of the targets, National's deputy Paula Bennett, says the attacks are racist.
