New eye device picking up sight problems in toddlers
A new device being developed by New Zealand researchers could help detect vision problems in young children - and save them from lifelong loss of sight. The project, run by researchers at the University of Auckland, was awarded MBIE's gold status, reserved only for the crème de la crème of its funded projects. It's gaining commercial backing overseas too. Science and Innovation reporter Charlie Dreaver spoke to those behind the project and filed this report.
