New Waiho River bridge helps West Coast clean-up
The opening of the Waiho Bridge is good news for the Fox River landfill cleanup. Last month flooding in the region caused an old landfill to become exposed, and rubbish was washed down the Fox River with the floodwaters. With the opening of the bridge volunteers will now be able to use vehicles to access remote areas, rather than relying on helicopters. Bruce Smith is the Mayor of Westland. He talks to Gyles Beckford.
