The gay millennial running for US presidency

The US has had it's first openly gay politician to run for President. Pete Buttigieg has officially launched his bid to become the Democratic Party nominee for the 2020 presidential election and challenge US President Donald Trump for the White House. The current group of democratic candidates already contains a record number of women and looks set to be the most diverse ever. Our correspondent in Washington DC is Giles Gibson.
