Three times more speed camera fines issued than year before

The number of fines handed out by static speed cameras last year was more than three times higher than the previous year, and 20 times more than it was in 2013. But while the number of tickets handed out has increased over the past decade, it's machines, and not officers, that have been doing the work. The number of tickets issued by police officers was down nearly 30 percent. RNZ police reporter Ben Strang has more.
