Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange has been arrested and removed from the Ecuador embassy where he has been living for the last seven years. Assange was arrested by UK police after Ecuador withdrew its asylum. He has now been found guilty by the Westminster Magistrates' Court of skipping bail back in 2012. Mr Assange is being held on behalf of the US government which is seeking his extradition. In the United States he faces federal conspiracy charges related to one of the largest ever leaks of government secrets.
