Back to books for history-making NZ basketballer
Jack Salt may have made history by becoming the first New Zealand basketballer to win a NCAA title in the United States but its pretty much been off the court and straight back to study for the Virginia University student. The former Westlake Boys High School student, was part of the University of Virginia Cavaliers team which beat Texas Tech to win the NCAA title on Tuesday. The 23 year old is finishing up a masters degree in education and having recently missed several weeks of university due to basketball commitments. Jack Salt told RNZ's sports editor Stephen Hewson he now has some catching up to do.
