Lifeline under-resourced, calls on hold up to 30 minutes
Lifeline is being told it should be redirecting callers to other crisis lines after a woman waited 30 minutes before hanging up. She got an apology by text the next morning. But Lifeline admits such delays are common and have got worse since the Mosque shootings. Her friend Rebecca Dixon told RNZ reporter Meriana Johnsen she was shocked by the delay.
