MPs face thousands of submissions on gun laws

The pressure is on for MPs who still have thousands of submissions to consider before Parliament brings in tough new gun laws by the end of next week. The Finance and Expenditure committee has about 10,000 written submissions on the plan to ban semi-automatic guns like those used in the mosque killings. The MPs also heard directly from 20 groups on Thursday. Te Aniwa Hurihanganui was there.
