Professionals call for national regulations for beauty clinics

There are calls for tougher rules for nail salons to make them safer. A public health survey has found 88 per cent of businesses in Wellington didn't meet adequate disinfection and sterilisation standards. Some are even using heel blades to remove calluses and rough skin, which many health professionals consider to be dangerous. Katie Vodanovich is a senior podiatrist and speaks to Guyon Espiner.
