NZ gun law reforms agreed on by govt, public awaits details

From Morning Report, 7:36 am on 19 March 2019

Governing parties are keeping their cards close to their chest as to how New Zealand's gun laws will change. Little more than 12 hours after the Christchurch attack the Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern made the promise but it will be up to 10 days before the country knows how far the changes will go. The Green Party was refusing interviews after meeting with Cabinet Ministers on Monday, and New Zealand First won't comment any further. The government also announced an inquiry into five government agencies, and their actions leading up to and during Friday's massacre.
