Pike River re-entry: Will families get in?

The Pike River re-entry will begin on May 3, but it's not yet clear if the families of the 29 men who died in the 2010 disaster will be allowed in. The Minister responsible, Andrew Little, says workers will break a concrete seal that is blocking the entrance to the mine and advance as far as a rockfall and the pit bottom. It's hoped the re-entry will shed light on what caused the disaster, but Mr Little tells reporters it's too early to consider whether family members will be able to go into the mine.
